In half a year we increased e-mailing revenue by 113%
With the founder of Vitapack, Robert Sládek, we agreed that in 6 months of cooperation, we will increase the revenue from e-mailing from 470 000 CZK to 1 million CZK. By setting up automations and optimizing campaigns appropriately, we could meet this goal and increase sales by 113%. We built a high-converting channel for their marketing mix.
The initial situation
The client had a very promising tech. stack and that was Klaviyo and Shopify. These integrated tools allow the fix to work well with customer behavior and trigger individual flows based on purchases, etc.
Before the project started, the client had set up some e-mailing flows in Klaviyo, but with low deliverability and associated domain reputation violations. In this situation, we took custody of the emailing.
The Goals
The task was to increase the monitored metrics and total sales from 470,000 CZK to 1 million CZK. We had half a year to achieve this result.
The Process
1. Audience segmentation
We identified broken domain reputation and low deliverability as the main problems in low performance. In the first two months of work, we were able to improve both metrics by splitting the audience into Engaged and Unengaged.
2. Frequency and content strategy by targeting
We set up different distribution methods and content for the both groups in order to improve the established metrics.
3. Template distribution and optimization
We statistically compared the existing communication according to their performance. In particular, we monitored their OR and CTR. We limited the distribution of the lowest-performing newsletters and also redesigned the emailing templates together with the client's graphic design team:
4. Extending flows to other scenarios
The next steps were to complete the flows that were completely missing. Types of developed flows:
- abandoned basket
- welcome flows after purchase
- retention campaigns
5. Further optimization of automated emails
Optimization is essential for managing automated emails. That's why we constantly A/B tested and tweaked campaigns until the emails delivered the desired results.
Above all, we optimized:
- Subjects
- CTA buttons
- Titles
- Templates
In six months of work, we increased emailing revenue by 113% and delivered a result of 1 million in attribution.
